Physical care First aid kit The EB-patient always carries materials that are used for the primary care of blisters and wounds after falling, bumping etcetera. The first aid kit includes dressing material that can be applied to the blister or wound, retention bandages to secure the dressings (rolled dressing material) and if necessary scissors and tweezers. The contents of the first aid kit depends on the patient's guidelines for treatment and practice. If the patient is not able to carry a first aid kit it is important to store materials in the patient's environment such as school, working environment, in the car, etcetera. |
